In addition to our WSET courses The Wine & Food Academy has also devised a tailor-made training course for professionals called the Certificate of Excellence.

This course is particularly aimed at those who want to improve their knowledge of wine and how it harmonises with food i.e. those working for hotels, pubs, restaurants etc.

The standard course runs for 4 days and covers all the areas that really matter in today's wine trade. The focus is on food and wine matching at every step - students will be trying the wines with relevant foods to appreciate properly the symbiotic nature of getting the right match.

We can adapt the course to suit existing venues' wine lists and menu choices - so if for example your place of work specialises in Italian food and drink, then our course will do the same.
