Ingredients:
- 3 eggs per loaf of bread (1 egg every 2 slices of bread)
- Non-stick spray, olive oil, or butter/margarine
- Cinnamon (However much you want)
- 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) vanilla extract (vanilla essence, optional)
- Bread (as many slices as you want), type of bread is up to your preference
- Powdered sugar, syrup, jam, etc.
- Milk (Reasonable amount)
Instructions
- The first step would be to beat eggs, sugar, salt, milk and vanilla in a shallow dish.
- Once the mixture has been prepared, soak the bread in it.
- Now, heat butter over medium high heat in a pan.
- Bake each slice of bread in the pan until it turns slightly brown on each side.
- The last step would be to sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired and your French toast is ready to be served.
