About School: Culinary Arts is one of the fastest growing fields of employment in the United States today. The 2006 National Restaurant Association’s Restaurant Industry forecast projects continued industry growth with some 1.9 million jobs to be added nationally by 2016. Texas ranks in the top five states expected to show the highest restaurant-sales growth. This growth will be fostered by a projected 22% growth rate in employment over the next decade, with Texas restaurants expected to employ some 11.6 million people by 2016. The person who receives the best training in this field will be the one who has their choice of the best jobs.
Potential fields for employment include: Hotels, Restaurants, Bakeries, Hospitals, Private Clubs, Sports Arenas, Cruise Ships, Grocery Stores, and many other businesses.

All of our chef instructors have an industry background that enables them to pass on real life knowledge and skills to our students. Come join us for training in an industry with future job growth and potential. Accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, our program features an 86% hands on ratio in lab and co-op. Accreditation gives our students the opportunity to transfer the credits that they have earned to continue their education. Our Culinary Arts Certificate is an integral part of our A.A.S. degree.
